Bring the Fun Back Into Business Meetings
Cover one surface of the office, boardroom or any other room where gatherings are held, with whiteboard paint, hand out a few sets of dry erase markers, and let each employee list ideas, thoughts or company goals on a spot of the wall on the next meeting. Eliminate Frustration Providing each employee with a section of the wall that is coated with dry erase paint will allow him or her to jot ideas down as they come to mind. This can eliminate frustration instead of jotting ideas down on notepads or paper scraps and losing them. Allow Free Reign to Inspire Creativity Allowing everyone to "join in the fun" and write on the walls at leisure will often spark a level of creativity in people that are maybe to shy to stand up in a traditional meeting. As a result, your next business meeting or brainstorming session could very well result in a set of fresh, new ideas that could result in increased employee performance

Step 1
Whiteboard paint should be applied with a nap or 3/8" nap microfiber roller. Step 2 Never use a foam or other synthetic roller. Step 3 A full size 9" roller should be used, not the little mini rollers. Step 4 Delint the roller by wrapping masking tape around it, spiraling it from top to bottom, covering the entire roller sleeve. Once all covered in tape, unroll the tape from the roller sleeve, removing any excess lint as you go. This step must be complete before mixing the two parts.

Warranty
With proper maintenance and normal wear and tear, whiteboard paint retains its dry-erase ability for 10+ years indoors before you ever need to recoat the surface. It's guaranteed not to crack, peel, stain, yellow or fade with proper use and maintenance. Maintenance It works best with low odor dry-erase markers. Erase it with a micro-fiber cloth. To accelerate or enhance the cleaning process, use the specified, ECO-Friendly Cleaner. Spritz a small amount on the area to be cleaned and wipe with a Cleaning Mitt or other micro-fiber cloth. Then wipe with a towel saturated with water to remove any residue. Using a paper towel, dry the surface and you're ready to write. Recoating With proper preparation of the surface, we recommend applying one coat for best results. If you choose to use a second coat, be sure to wait until the first coat is dry to touch (about 18-24 hours). The second coat should be applied at 18- 24 hours to avoid having to sand the surface. If you need to recoat the surface after the 18-24 hour mark, wait a full 48 hours minimum, then sand with 220 grit sandpaper. Apply another coat after the sanded surface is dust free, clean and dry. Health and Safety Whiteboard paint contains less than 50g/l VOCs. That means that it emits nearly zero harmful chemicals into the environment. It is also free of lead and asbestos. During application, the use of a respirator is recommended.

Keeping Your Whiteboard Wall Clean7/11/2019 Avoid Abrasive or Scratching Motions
Never use abrasive or scratching motions to clean your whiteboard wall. The non-porousness of hardened whiteboard paint is what allows the ink to come off so easily, as a clear, Teflon-like coating protects the whiteboard from letting ink set in. But scratches and "tears" in this coating will allow the ink to seep through. Microfiber cloths are always best. Use Whiteboard Cleaner Use a soy-based whiteboard cleaner and a microfiber cloth at the end of every week to keep the board clean. Regular cleanings are recommended to prevent the need to repaint your whiteboard in the first place. A light spray of soy-based whiteboard cleaner and a microfiber cloth, followed by water dampened cloth, will remove marks before the set in, keeping your whiteboard wall beautiful for years to come. Remove "Ghost Marks" Remove "ghost marks" or permanent marker by completely covering the stubborn marks in black dry-erase ink, then erasing it quickly. The wet marker has chemicals that keep the ink fluid, which will temporarily loosen the ghost marks or permanent marker. Work quickly, then erase with a microfiber cloth and a soy-based cleaner to remove the marks. Follow by wiping with water dampened cloth. Don't Use Other Cleaners Never use degreasers, soap, or cleaners not specially formulated for whiteboard paint. Most detergents break up oils and sheens that are not water-soluble, helping cut through tough stains and chemicals. But the sheen left by whiteboard paint is there on purpose, allowing the markers to write without ever truly drying out. Never use cleaners that aren't made to work with whiteboard paint. In a pinch, denatured alcohol can work as a more powerful cleaner than water, and it shouldn't harm the original finish. Follow with water dampened cloth. Dry your Whiteboard Wall Always dry off your whiteboard wall with your microfiber cloth. Even after using the recommended soy-based cleaner don't let it air dry. If you're wiping the board down at the end of the day, follow with additional microfiber water dampened cloth. This will help protect the longevity of the board. Use Clean Microfiber Cloths Regularly clean or replace your microfiber cloth to prevent the build-up of dust and marker residue. Dust and debris can be abrasive and which is the enemy the longevity of your whiteboard wall. |
